Global Digital Marketer

Steven Matt is the Global Director of Digital Marketing at First Data Corporation, the world’s largest financial technology company.

Since 2003, he has helped businesses earn more money by creating the most effective and persuasive digital marketing strategies.

He has worked with businesses in the following areas: advertising, art, fashion, food & beverage, technology, and finance.

In the evenings, he teaches digital marketing at General Assembly and at NYC Business Solutions.

 

Projects with a Purpose

Since the early 2000s, Steven has led “projects with a purpose” that attempt to benefit one or more of the following: people, planet, profit.

For example, between the years of 200 and 2003, Steven designed, built, and painted real lighthouses along the Colorado River in Lake Havasu City, Arizona for the purpose of reducing boater deaths.

Since then, Steven has led dozens of other projects including a road trip across the United States in a biodiesel suburban and a broken glass clean up project in Fort Greene Park that got the attention of hundreds of residents that volunteered with Steven to make the park a better place to run, play, and walk dogs.


The Digital Marketing School

In 2019, Steven launched The Digital Marketing School to help working professionals and business owners grow their business.

The course comes in six parts: Digital Marketing Strategy, Content, Website Building, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media, and Email Marketing.
